Singapore’s educational institutions will be closed from Wednesday, May 19 to Friday, May 28.

Due to the rapid increase in the number of infected people, with 36 people infected with corona on Sunday, May 16, MOE has decided to close educational institutions.

From May 19 (Wed.) to 28 (Fri.), primary (elementary school), secondary (the period from junior high school to high school in Japan), and junior college (college preparatory institution) will be closed, and face-to-face classes will disappear and become online schools.

Educational institutions in Singapore will go directly into the school holiday period from Saturday, May 29 to Sunday, June 27.
